Building Energy Rating (BER)

Since the 1st January 2009 all buildings for sale, rent or lease require a BER certificate. We are fully qualified to provide provisional and full BER certs. Thermography (Thermal Imaging)

Thermal Imaging Technology is used in building diagnostics to identify damaged or missing thermal insulation in the property, it can also identify other defects such as draughts and water ingress. Thermal Imaging will show up hot and cold areas in the building fabric allowing remedial work to be carried out only where necessary avoiding undue cost, labour and materials.

Air Pressure Testing

Air Pressure testing will Identify “Air Infiltration” as opposed to “Ventilation”. Ventilation is necessary for the health and safety of the occupants, where as infiltration is the unwanted circulation of air, this infiltration creates draughts and is uncomfortable for the occupants.
